Senior Practitioner - Looked After Children's Team

Southend-On-Sea, Essex

We are looking to recruit a Senior Practitioner in the Looked After Children's Team within Southend. The successful candidate will be working in a well-structured, organised team who are growing their social worker staffing levels.

The responsibilities of the Senior Practitioner includes:

Prepare and submit written reports as and when required, including statements and care plans for care proceedings in the Family Proceedings, County and High Courts.
Pathway Planning
Attending Adoption Panels
Standard Case Management
LAC Reviews
Section 20 care orders
Attending Court
Court Reports

To ideal candidate will have:

Social Work England registration
Eligibility to work in the UK
Social Work qualified (MA/BSc/DipSW/CQSW/MSc/BA)
Car Driver
