Role Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Paraplanner to join our established team in Glasgow. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity to play a crucial role in supporting our Chartered Financial Planners in providing exceptional financial planning services to our valued clients. As a Senior Paraplanner, you will be responsible for: Providing comprehensive technical paraplanning support to Chartered Financial Planners, including research, analysis, and report writing. Preparing and maintaining suitability reports, financial plans, and other client documentation to a high standard. Conducting detailed financial analysis, cash flow modelling, and investment research. Assisting in the development and implementation of financial planning strategies tailored to the unique needs of high-net-worth individuals and business owners. Ensuring all client documentation is compliant with regulatory requirements and internal procedures. Liaising with product providers and other third parties to gather necessary information. Contributing to the ongoing development of the paraplanning processes and templates. Providing technical support and guidance to other members of the team. Assisting with the preparation for and follow-up from client meetings. Developing a strong understanding of the financial planning needs of Owner Managed Businesses & Family Businesses and providing relevant technical support. Qualifications: Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent) as a minimum - Chartered level desired or at least working towards level 6. Significant experience working as a Paraplanner within a financial planning environment. Proven experience in complex financial planning areas. Experience working with Owner Managed Businesses & Family Businesses is highly desirable. Strong technical knowledge across all areas of financial planning, including investments, pensions, tax, and estate planning. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently and proactively, as well as collaboratively within a team. Proficiency in using financial planning software and Microsoft Office Suite. Progress towards Chartered Financial Planner or Certified Financial Planner status is advantageous.
