Are you an Experienced Mechanical Technician keen to use your skill set in bespoke & innovative projects? We are recruiting for one of Cambridge's research institutions & we are looking for a skilled Mechanical Technician to help support lab and production services across multiple labs. You will get the chance to work across a broad range of research areas, providing support on designing, commissioning, upgrading and using mechanical engineering equipment to support engineers within the labs. The right candidate will have: Experience designing, developing, manufacturing mechanical equipment, from rough sketches and instructions. Experience sourcing, ordering & stock check of mechanical rigs & equipment. Experience of the maintaining and running labs Mechanical Qualification equitable to HND/HNC This role also comes with some great benefits: Salary between £30,805 - £35,116 Pay progression and annual cost of living increases; 43.5 days' paid leave (inclusive of UK bank holidays) Shopping & Travel Discounts Onsite gym/sports Centre Interested to learn more?
