Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Full-time, Permanent Huntingdon Up to £65k DOE In a nutshell Our client is a well-established engineering business known for innovation, technical excellence, and high-quality product delivery across multiple sectors. As they continue to grow, they're now on the hunt for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team and help lead exciting new product development projects from concept to completion including testing and commissioning. What's involved for the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Lead the mechanical design of products and systems using 3D CAD tools such as Inventor or AutoCAD Produce detailed drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation Support the prototyping, testing, and validation of designs Liaise with manufacturing and supply chain to ensure design for manufacturability Conduct design reviews, feasibility studies Help continuously improve design processes and engineering standards What you'll need Mechanical Design Engineer experience Strong skills in 2D/3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor etc) Excellent understanding of materials Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Strong communication and problem-solving abilities A proactive, team-focused mindset Benefits for the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Competitive salary 20 days holiday + bank holidays +1 day each year served (Max 25 days) Pension scheme Ongoing training and career development Clear progression within a growing, innovative company Full-time, permanent role Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:30 How to Apply: Ready to bring your engineering expertise to a forward-thinking company with big plans?
