That’s where you come in. /span /p p /p p span As a b Senior Manager of Technical Program Management (TPM) in Capital One’s Bank Tech organization, /b you'll be focused on modernizing data technologies within commercial and small business banking. In addition to the technical program, you will also work to pave the way for an expanding TPM discipline within the team, by leveraging your industry knowledge and experience to teach the organization what a great TPM can achieve. /span /p p /p p b Our TPM Sr. Managers have: /b /p ul li p span Strong technical backgrounds (ideally building highly scalable platforms, products, or services) with the ability to proactively identify and mitigate technical risks throughout delivery life-cycle /span /p /li li p span Exceptional communication and collaboration skills /span /p /li li p span Excellent problem solving and influencing skills /span /p /li li p span A quantitative approach to problem solving and a collaborative implementer to holistic solutions; a systems thinker /span /p /li li p span Ability to simplify the technically complex and drive well-educated decisions across product, engineering, design, and data science representatives /span /p /li li p span Deep focus on execution, follow-through, accountability, and results /span /p /li li p span Exceptional cross-team collaboration; able to work across different functions, organizations, and reporting boundaries to get the job done. /span /p /li li p span Highly tuned emotional intelligence, good listener, and deep seated empathy for teams and partners /span /p /li /ul p /p p b Basic Qualifications: /b /p ul li p span Bachelor's degree /span /p /li li p span At least 5 years of experience managing technical programs /span /p /li /ul p /p p b Preferred Qualifications: /b /p ul li p span 5+ years of experience designing and building data-intensive solutions using distributed computing /span /p /li li p span 3+ years of experience in building distributed systems & highly available services using cloud computing services / architecture - preferably using AWS /span /p /li li p span 3+ years experience building highly scalable mobile products & platforms /span /p /li li p span 3+ years of experience with Agile delivery /span /p /li li p span 3+ years experience delivering large and complex programs - where you own the business or technical vision, collaborate with large cross-functional teams, secure commitments on deliverables, and unblock teams to land business impact /span /p /li li p span Experience in building systems & solutions within a highly regulated environment /span /p /li li p span Bachelor's degree or higher in a related technical field (Computer Science, Software Engineering) /span /p /li /ul p /p p span At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. /span /p p style="text-align:inherit" /p p style="text-align:left" span The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location.
