FINTEC recruit is supporting recruitment for a Senior Geotechnical Design Engineer. This is a permanent role with salary up to circa £60,000 plus benefits/contributory pension etc. Working within the Greater Manchester region working on infrastructure and waste water projects. \n\nResponsibilities\n\nProduce geotechnical & civil engineering design deliverables, including calculations, reports & drawings\n\t\nLead preparation of ground investigations (GI) specifications, interpretive reports & design documentation\n\t\nEnsure designs comply with technical standards, industry regulations & internal quality processes\n\t\nParticipate in design reviews & Hazop/Hazid meeting etc\n\t\nUndertake estimates for projects and monitor delivery progress\n\t\nManage and record all design changes\n\t\nMentor and direct more junior staff\n\nSkills and Experience required for the Geotechnical Design Engineer role:\n\nMinimum10 years of experiencein geotechnical and/or civil engineering design.\n\t\nStrong knowledge of geotechnical principles, site investigations, and reporting.\n\t\nHND or Degree-qualified in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or similar discipline.\n\t\nProficient in engineering software and general IT tools.\n\t\nRegistered with a professional organisation and actively working towards Chartership.\n\t\nPrevious experience in regulated infrastructure environments (e.g., rail, utilities, highways, nuclear, oil & gas).\n\nFull details of the Senior Geotechnical Design Engineer is available on application.
