Senior Carer

Inverness, Highlands

My client are currently recruiting five Senior Carers across Inverness offering a full time, part time, night shift and day shift opportunities.

As Senior Carer you will be responsible for a team, delegating responsibilities and supporting with the training and development of staff members to ensure we achieve the highest professional standards of care.

Responsibilities
Delegating responsibilities to the care team.
Rota management ensuring staffing requirements are met.
Provide management support in the absence of the service/deputy manager.
Support your team in creating, implementing and reviewing care plans
Be responsible for medication management
Participating in evaluating service delivery, improvements plans and audits
To assist with all aspects of HR including recruitment, inductions and training, performance management, absence management and involvement in discipline and grievance investigations

Requirements
SVQ3 Health and Social Care or equivalent
Willingness working towards further qualifications and training
Good IT skills
