We are looking to recruit a full-time Analyst who is inquisitive with a passion for data and research, to join our Markets team in London to support research of the TV, telecoms and online video market. The primary responsibilities of this role include the collection of data relating to the economics, advertising and content spending patterns of companies in these areas, the publication of high-quality, data-driven editorial output, and prospect interaction. Learn and build on your experience with a team of globally acclaimed experts in the media and entertainment industries across the UK and US Explore and research the fast-changing evolving business models and latest trends in advertising, content, television, digital media & services Develop your skills in a data-driven environment, helping to create solutions to solve real-world problems for some of the largest media companies in the world Continue to grow and enhance your skills by working with, and presenting to, key players in the industry, as well as potentially see your research published in global publications Receive a selection of other company benefits such as private medical insurance, company pension, regular team-building activities and early finishes on Friday in the summer Key Responsibilities Monitoring key performance indicators across the content, telecoms and advertising sectors, and analysing market trends in these sectors Supporting the maintenance of data models, tracking companies across the TV, telecoms and online video space and ensuring data quality Create engaging insights and reports to support client understanding of trends and developments in the media industry, and to further drive awareness of Ampere s expertise and data coverage of the sector Assisting with the wider team s custom consulting work for high-profile film, TV and technology firms Where required working on a variety of client-facing roles, including delivering client-side presentations, assisting with sales meetings and calls, and briefing customers on topical or research issues Enhancing awareness of Ampere s media research by responding to journalist enquiries, and attending/presenting at media industry events Skills & Experiences The successful candidate will have: 2-4 years experience in a research, strategy or analysis role in the video advertising sector, gained through experience at an agency, an ad tech company, or within the ad sales team of a publisher or platform. Analytical: An eye for detail and pattern recognition is a key part of the job understanding and really getting to grips with the nuances that underpin the video advertising and content industries Communication: We would like to work with people who can develop the ability to communicate complex issues in a clear and simple manner both in-person and through written briefings Flexible: Enjoy learning and want to improve a wide range of skills such as data modelling, data analysis, industry knowledge, and other related skills Enthusiasm: We re looking for a candidate who enjoys research, who has (or could develop) an interest in becoming an expert in the TV sector Technical: Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) Basic knowledge of a programming language (Python/SQL) is a plus but not essential #J-18808-Ljbffr
