Job Purpose Support a varied client portfolio, working closely with the senior management team to ensure expectations and deadlines are met Preparation of statutory accounts for Limited companies and Sole Traders Preparation of accounts from core records, using FRS 105 and/or FRS 102 Review of accounts prepared by junior team members Preparation and submission of VAT returns Filing accounts and ensuring accurate accounts are produced and submitted to Companies House on time Liaise with clients, building trusted relationships and proactively handling queries Lead fieldwork at clients premises when required Support junior staff, including reviewing work and supporting their professional development Identify new processes and ways to increase efficiency Research and interpret changes to taxation and accounting regulations Champion your own professional development, regularly undertaking training opportunities About This Firm Available with a leading firm in Bath, this Senior Accountant job will suit a driven candidate who can support the teams ambitious growth plans.
