Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Learning Support Assistant to join our supportive school in Chester. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting students with diverse needs, including Autism, Dyslexia, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), facilitating their academic and personal development within both individual and group settings.

Key Responsibilities:



Provide tailored support to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students on a one-to-one and small group basis.



Assist students in maintaining engagement with their tasks and ensure the completion of work to a high standard.



Prepare classroom resources and maintain an organised, welcoming learning environment.



Collaborate closely with the class teacher to offer encouragement, support, and implement de-escalation strategies when necessary.

Candidate Requirements:



A genuine passion for supporting children to reach their full potential.



Reliability, flexibility, and creativity in approach.



Previous experience in an educational setting, particularly working with children with SEND, is preferred but not essential.



A proactive and enthusiastic attitude towards facilitating children's learning and development.

Additional Information:

An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, comprehensive references, and eligibility to work in the UK are required.
