A popular accountancy group are recruiting for a Semi Senior Accountant to join their Preston office on a full time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to build your accounts and tax experience, take on more responsibility with a portfolio of clients, and make a real difference in a firm that values your growth and contribution Semi Senior Accountant Job Overview As a Semi-Senior Accountant, you'll play a key role in supporting client portfolios, working closely with senior staff, and developing your skills in a dynamic environment. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting in the preparation of financial statements to a high standard. Supporting the preparation of self-assessment tax returns. Helping clients adopt and use cloud-based bookkeeping software. Guiding and supporting junior team members with day-to-day tasks. Contributing to our community initiatives, from local events to charity support. Experience with IRIS and XERO would be ideal! Semi Senior Accountant Job Requirements At least 2 years hands on experience in a UK accountancy firm AAT Qualified or Part-qualified or newly qualified ACA or ACCA (or equivalent), - study support available! Solid knowledge of accounting, tax, and financial reporting processes. Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
