Role Responsibilities Accounts Preparation: Prepare limited company accounts, statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and small limited companies. VAT and Payroll: Review and submit VAT returns, and understand and prepare payroll. Tax Returns: Prepare self-assessment tax returns (advantageous but not essential). Client Liaison: Communicate effectively with clients, HMRC, and colleagues to resolve queries. Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to trainee team members when required.
