Job Description As Sector Marketing Manager for Private Sector , the role will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that build reputation, improve customer relationships, and drive and support revenue within the sector. You will work closely with cross functional teams to create and implement marketing campaigns that resonate with our customers and support our business objectives. The role requires deep understanding of customer marketing and campaign management, with emphasis on proving return on investment (ROI) and reporting to key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Lead the sector strategy across a portfolio of campaigns, working with key stakeholders to establish how best to achieve revenue objectives, driving engagement and growth of our customer base, as well as attracting new customers. Work closely with commercial and cross functional teams to build the sector marketing strategy to ensure a customer first, commercially aligned plan. Operate as a business partner, taking ownership and accountability for proactive planning and establish regular reporting cadence to sector and marketing leadership. Lead on the creation of customer centric value propositions and solutions within the sector, with alliances and partners where relevant. Employ an account based marketing (ABM) approach to our customers within the sector (1:1, 1:few, 1:many) to ensure a personalised experience for stakeholders. Conduct market research and sector analysis to develop trend reports and identify evolving sector customer needs and pain points. Provide deep insight into our customers to create a differentiated sector position, identifying opportunities for wider cross-selling and marketing solutions. Closely monitor customer and competitor activity for the sector, as well as marketing performance, to ensure plans are maintained and adapted to the changing landscapes. Lead on the execution of sector marketing activities, including but not limited to: events, campaigns, market research, partners, awards, content, and executive engagement. Monitoring progress, identifying and reporting exceptions and deviations from plans, timelines, and budget. Proactive budget management for campaigns and wider sector marketing. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in technology services. Sector knowledge/experience of working with private sector customers is desired. Experience working with AI tools for efficiency gains. A strong understanding of effective sector marketing and customer trends/behaviour. Proven ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally, with experience of working closely with a commercial team. Experience in developing and executing successful sector marketing campaigns. Excellent, authentic communication and interpersonal skills with a solution mindset. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
