This role would appeal to a dynamic manager with experience in risk management and insurance. The ideal candidate will have a corporate risk background as well as insurance management, claims handling and procurement skills, and be adept with technology, including Microsoft tools and the Agresso accounting system. /p p Responsibilities: /p p Oversee budget management and control /p p Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders /p p Drive the working practice and ensure effective risk management /p p Understand and manage risk management requirements /p p Update the risk management framework and provide corporate risk quarterly updates /p p Ensure directives have the necessary support and information /p p Challenge the status quo and drive change in respect of risk and insurance /p p What You Will Do: /p p Manage budgets and control financial aspects of risk management /p p Engage with stakeholders and build strong relationships /p p Drive improvements in working practices of risk management /p p Update and review risk management frameworks and corporate risk updates /p p Your Skills: /p p Experienced in risk management /p p Insurance, claims handling and insurance procurement skills /p p Proficient with Microsoft tools and Agresso accounting system /p p Excellent budget management and control abilities /p p Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills /p p Proactive and driven with a strong aptitude for numbers /p p Good data management and mining skills /p p Fully qualified, with a preference for candidates with a background in risk management /p p Are you ready to lead and transform Slough's financial landscape?
