Maintenance Electrician required for a large site in Swindon (static engineer) £37-40k 40 hour week Great Benefits Are you an Maintenance Electrician / Electrical Maintenance Engineer based near Swindon. This national Facilities Management company are recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician to be based on a large site in Swindon. The role is to carry out planned and reactive maintenance to all Electrical services within the building as well as have a basic understanding of PPMs to Mechanical: Pumps and Motors. Key Accountabilities PPM in adherence to IET Wiring Regulations 18th Edition. Respond to Reactive Works to include all Electrical, Mechanical and minor fabric issues. Adhere to the out of hours call out Rota (as required). Correct and timely completion of paperwork according to company policy and procedure. Provide engineering condition reports and quotations. Logbook auditing. Good customer interface skills. Technical Skills/ Knowledge Demonstrate competence in all areas of your primary trade (with valid certification) Electrical: Competent Fault finding, Repair and installation; 18th Edition, C&G 2330 levels 2 & 3, NVQ levels 2&3 C & G 2391 Test & Inspection, PAT testing; electrical servicing; basic controls Mechanical: Pumps, Motors and controls/hydraulics/pneumatics. Fabric: Basic carpentry (door hanging, shelf erecting etc); internal furniture, fittings and decor repairs; external fixtures and fittings repairs; emergency leak repairs and gutter cleaning Miscellaneous: meter reading; emergency light testing; water temperature recording; alarm testing. ESSENTIAL Minimum of one trade qualification with bias on: Electrical Installations and Test & Inspection Requirements Reasonable competence or a basic understanding of the other trades where certification permits Delivery of service excellence PREFERABLE IPAF PASMA Desirable Minor building fabric items; controls / hydraulics / pneumatics as requested and when necessary.
