I am actively recruiting a Children's Home Registered Manager on behalf of my client based in Carlisle for a brand new property. My client supports young people within their care to develop emotional resilience to achieve their full potential in all areas of their lives.
You will be apart of a well established local provider of therapeutic residential care & education for boys between 6-18. You will improve the resilience, self esteem and abilities of all they young people you will support.
Duties include, but not limited to:
To ensure the statement of purpose is in place.
To be responsible for ensuring a full flow of information into & out of the team.
To be responsible for the effective management & development of a range of quality & direct services to young people.
To ensure that staff training & development needs are identified.
To ensure that all Health & Safety Regulations are complied with.
To regularly inspect the condition of the structure, fabric, furnishings & fittings.
To ensure that effective finance budgets, control & administration comply with expectations & procedures.
To promote & implement the companies Equality & Diversity policies.
To oversee Quality Assurance within the service.
To establish & manage the team communication systems.
To ensure professional practice is carried out to the highest standard.
To provide vision & leadership to all staff within the service.
To manage designated budgets.
Required Attributes:
Enthusiasm in providing the highest quality care & education.
You must hold a level 3 diploma in Children & Young People.
Experience in managing a team.
Familiarity with the needs of vulnerable individuals.
Demonstrate high standards of safe working practices.
Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
Flexible & reliable.
