Registered Manager Home Type: 2-Bed EBD Children s Home Location: Derby, DE21 Salary: Up to £55,000 per year Perks: Private healthcare, 33 days annual leave, birthday off, one day a week working from home, bonuses We re looking for a Registered Manager to lead a small two-bed children s home in Derby. We re after someone who knows how to create a space that feels safe, stable and genuinely homely. This is a well-supported role, with a strong senior team behind you. The home belongs to a well-established group that s been around since 2017, all of their services are rated Good or Outstanding , and the care standards are taken seriously. You ll be trusted to do what you do best, lead with compassion, stay hands-on where it counts, and build a team that puts the child at the centre of every decision. What makes this role stand out You ll have the autonomy to run the home as it should be, calm, consistent, child-focused There s a regional team to call on when you need support, you won t be left to figure everything out alone One day a week to work from home and time set aside for development, reflection and supervision A package that includes healthcare, 33 days off a year (plus your birthday), and performance bonuses What we re looking for Level 5 in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or studying towards it) At least five years in children s residential care, with solid experience around complex EBD Confident leadership and strong grip on safeguarding and compliance but with a calm, grounded approach Someone who still cares deeply about the work, and hasn t lost sight of why they got into it A few more details You ll oversee the day-to-day running of the home and lead a small, close-knit staff team You'll help shape care plans that are individual, meaningful and flexible to the young person s needs Compliance and safeguarding come with the territory, but the focus here is quality, not box-ticking You ll work closely with families, schools and other professionals to keep everyone pulling in the same direction
