A rare opportunity has arisen for experienced Registered Building Inspectors (Building Control Surveyors) of all levels to join my clients regional team covering the West of the UK. Ideal locations include Bath, Bristol, and Yeovil. The Company: My client is a reputable and established business within the building control industry. The Role: This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Building Inspectors at both Principal and Surveyor levels to take on building control responsibilities across a variety of residential and commercial projects. You will be providing both plan checking and site inspection services, with a focus on residential developments. The role offers flexibility in how and where you work, whether from home or the office, with hybrid working options available. The company ensures that each Surveyors workload is well-balanced, promoting a sustainable work-life balance. Person Specification: Proven experience in building control, with a background in plan checking and site inspections across residential and commercial projects. BSR Registration (Class 2 A, B & D for Principal level, or Class 2 A for Surveyor level as a minimum). Full or part membership of a relevant professional body such as RICS , CABE , or CIOB . Strong knowledge and application of Building Regulations and related legislation. A full UK driving license and access to a car. What youll receive: Competitive salary up to £60,000 (depending on experience & registration level). Company car or car allowance .
