The Quality Manager will manage a small team of 3 skilled professionals, and will have full responsibility for the quality management system, ISO9001 accreditation and quality standards across the facility. Client Details Michael Page Engineering & Manufacturing are working in partnership with a highly successful global business who have a site based in Leeds. They work tirelessly to manufacture a brilliant range of engineered products for a range of customers across the UK and internationally. Due to an internal promotion, they are looking for a Quality Manager with experience in QMS systems and ISO9001 auditing to continue driving the business forward. Description The Quality Manager will manage a small team of 3 skilled professionals, and will have full responsibility for the quality management system, ISO9001 accreditation and quality standards across the facility. Day to day responsibilities include: Leading the quality strategy, system, tools and teams with an aim of exceeding customer expectations whilst ensuring sustainable manufacturing operations. Using CI, route cause analysis, failure mode analysis, prevention methods and robust action plans to drive the quality system forward. Liaising with peers in other departments, influencing and consulting the management team, and driving the development of the quality standards to aid overall business performance. Working from design and product development to customer delivery to ensure a good quality product lifecycle. Profile The successful Quality Manager will have: Proven background in a quality management role in a manufacturing setting, ideally engineered products. Knowledge of ISO9001 standards and lead auditor certification. Experience managing a QMS system within a manufacturing environment. Strong customer focus with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong leadership skills with experience of managing a team. Ideally knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma methodology, or similar. Job Offer Salary of c.£55-60k. 10% bonus. Wider benefits package including private healthcare.
