Are you a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker seeking a rewarding role in a vibrant community? Look no further! We are currently recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join our dynamic Childrens Locality Team in Kingston!
As a Qualified Social Worker in our Locality Team, you will play a vital role in providing essential support and intervention to individuals and families in need within the Sutton community. You will work collaboratively with a range of professionals to deliver high-quality services, promote positive outcomes, and empower individuals to overcome challenges.
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop care plans for individuals and families, addressing their specific needs and circumstances.
Provide direct support, guidance, and counselling to individuals, empowering them to build resilience and improve their overall well-being.
Liaise and collaborate with partner agencies, community resources, and support networks to facilitate holistic and coordinated support for individuals and families.
Safeguard and protect vulnerable individuals, ensuring their safety and advocating for their rights and best interests.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation, adhering to relevant policies and procedures.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and reviews to contribute to effective decision-making and service planning.
Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification (degree or diploma).
Registered with the appropriate regulatory body (e.g., Social Work England).
Proven experience in a social work role, preferably within a locality or community-based setting.
Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to social work practice.
