Job Advert: Fostering Team Manager (Permanent) Location: Civic 1, Southend-on-Sea, Essex Division: Children & Public Health Department: Director of Children's Social Work, Early Help & Youth Support Salary: £48,587 per annum Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time Hours: 37 hours per week (7.4 hours/day, 5 days/week) Positions Available: 2 Make a Difference in Children s Lives Southend-on-Sea City is seeking two experienced and passionate Fostering Team Managers to join our dedicated Children s Social Work, Early Help & Youth Support division. This is a permanent opportunity to take on a leadership role within a forward-thinking, child-centred local authority. About the Role As a Fostering Team Manager , you will lead a team of social workers and support staff, ensuring the highest standards of care, support, and oversight for foster carers and the children in their care. This is a key leadership position, requiring a blend of management experience, professional knowledge, and a commitment to making a real difference in the lives of children and young people.
