IT Global Consulting Limited - Seeking an experienced and highly motivated QA & Automation Test Engineer who is responsible for the Testing, maintenance, and ongoing support for the platform and acting as the internal focal point for an enterprise platform. The person should be self-motivated and ambitious, with an ongoing desire to maintain their knowledge level at the forefront of the QA & Automation Test process and technologies. Duties and Responsibilities Coordinate with the software design team to discuss different verification protocols Identify weaknesses and target areas of a software application Develop ideas for automated software test procedures Report and find problem areas Design and install software databases Identify quality issues and create test reports Minimum Requirements Bachelor s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field Previous work experience as an automation test engineer Knowledge of advanced programming skills like automation systems and databases Knowledge of programming script languages such as Java and VBScript Understanding of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols Strong written and verbal communication skills Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications Java, Selenium, JMeter, Postman Nice to Have Technologies and Experience: Nginx IPv4 Networking Software engineering (C/C++/Java/Python/Go/Rust/Node) Test automation Relational and non-relational data technologies Personal Traits: Passion for technology Showing initiative Self-learning Team player, contributing to overall team capability and knowledge Certifications (Optional): AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP) for J2SE 6.0 Sun Certified Web Component Developer (SCWCD) ITILv3 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management Role: QA & Automation Test Engineer Location: Slough - Berkshire, UK Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 #J-18808-Ljbffr
