The Finance function has launched a Finance Transformation programme. The programme has recently commenced with a Discovery phase to aid the scoping and forward planning required to launch a full-scale transformation programme. The focus is on delivering business change through process, technology and data improvement across the function which is then supported in deployment by change management and communications.

The primary objective of this role is to setup and manage the PMO for the Discovery phase. This includes setting the standards for the PMO, setting the plans for workshops as well as tracking and documenting there outcomes. A core output for this role will be supporting the Programme Director in shaping and planning out the integrated future roadmap that is logically sequenced, identifying dependencies and resourcing constraints for the CFO and FLT review in October

What You'll Be Doing: 

As a Programme Planning and PMO Manager, you'll be doing the following: 

  • Development of the integrated programme plan that addresses resource constraints, is sequenced logically and takes account of the change load placed on the business
  • Delivering a planning tool and relevant planning standards for project planning and managing an effective, high functioning PMO
  • Ownership and management of the RAID log in an effective manner
  • Establishes and co-ordinates programme governance routines and templates
  • Reviews and gives input to project plans ensuring plans developed fit the rigour requirements of the programme
