Production Operations Manager vacancy with a growing manufacturer based in Scunthorpe. With continued year on year growth the business is looking to grow their management team to support further plans for 2024 and beyond. Client Details My client is a highly successful, extremely adaptable manufacturing business based in Scunthorpe. They are looking for a Production Operations Manager to join them and help with their ambitious growth plans for 2025 and beyond. With a small but robust team, this company produces an exceptional range of products for their large customer base, both across the UK and internationally. Description The Production Operations Manager will have day to day responsibilities for: Managing and developing a team of c.12-15 operatives (this will increase as the business continues to grow) Improving the efficiency of the production process by taking advantage of new technologies and automation, alongside matrix training of employees Working alongside the technical team to help create new products for emerging markets Using data capture to understand current machine capabilities and analyse this to increase output based on capacity Instilling a culture of going above and beyond for customers and colleagues alike Profile Successful candidates will have a strong manufacturing background and a can-do attitude. You will also have: Experience of developing smaller teams, being a hands-on manager whilst also being able to see the bigger picture Proven ability to improve production processes; increasing productivity, capacity and utilisation/OEE Familiarity with business growth/scaling or processes - whether it be an individual department or an entire company Knowledge of digitalisation or automation would be advantageous, but not necessary Job Offer £50-60k depending on experience Competitive benefits package including holidays, pension and more Chance for personal development and progression into more senior roles as the business continues to grow
