Procurement Specialist Series A Clean Tech Scale-Up London (Hybrid) The Client Harmonic is proud to be retained by one of the UK s most exciting Clean Tech scale-ups. VC backed; they are a leading business in building technology to help transition the globe to being Net Zero. Even though they are at Series A, they ve already moved their product from lab to working with global businesses. Now approaching their Series B raise, they ve grown rapidly from R&D roots into a globally recognised innovator with commercial deployments. With an ambitious and mission-driven team, they re looking to bring on a talented Procurement Specialist to support the scale-up of their world-changing tech. The Role Working closely with the Senior Procurement Manager and wider operations team, you ll take the lead on supplier negotiations, contracts, and procurement processes. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who thrives in high-growth environments and wants to have a direct impact on the fight against climate change. You'll be at the forefront of building and managing procurement pipelines that support capital projects across the UK and internationally. This includes both developing supplier relationships and ensuring best-in-class compliance, efficiency, and value. Key Responsibilities Lead procurement processes for capital equipment and component packages. Negotiate supplier terms and develop commercial agreements. Monitor supplier performance and drive improvements across cost, quality, and delivery. Collaborate with Engineering, R&D, Product, Project Management, and Finance teams. Maintain accurate supplier records and ensure robust due diligence practices. Support the development of scalable procurement processes aligned with international growth. Developing and nurturing relationships with suppliers or vendors. Essential Experience 3+ years of procurement experience in process-based industries, such as engineering, manufacturing, or capital project environments. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of owning supplier relationships. Experience in hardware or technical product supply chains. Able to work in fast-paced, process-developing scale-up environments. Comfortable interfacing with engineering and technical teams. Desired Experience (non-essential) Background in Energy, Renewables, Electrochemistry, Oil & Gas or Water Treatment Services. STEM based degree Mandarin language skills. Experience supporting due diligence and supplier audits. Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + share options Location: East London / Hybrid (minimum 2 days in office) Start Date: Up to 8 weeks notice considered, with preference to immediately available.
