Food Manufacturing

Location: Processing Factory around the Inverness area

We are seeking for a back-shift processing supervisor to support our successfully growing team. Reporting to the processing manager the supervisor will be responsible for supervising processing operations within the site and ensuring the continuation of producing a quality packed product.

Responsibilities:

· Supervision of staff/product within the processing site.

· Handling and generating processing paperwork and keeping administrative records.

· Ensuring compliance with company health and safety and legal policy’s.

· Ensuring operational performance through efficient and effective use of plant, and people resources whilst maintaining Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)

· Organising workload of staff members to ensure operations run smoothly.

· Taking on responsibilities of the processing manager in their absence.

Requirements:

· Food processing experience

· A strong ability to run a processing line.

· Strong communication skills.

· Confidence in discussing and communicating with senior management.

· Be reliable and approachable.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Hours of work:

This is a back shift position and will involve working variable hours. Start time is 6pm; finish time vary depending on processing volumes. The role is mostly Monday to Friday but does involve weekends on a rota basis, flexibility is important.
