Private Client Legal Secretary Location: Swindon, office-based Salary: DOEWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Private Client Secretary to join the Private Client Department of a well-established law firm. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a professional team and provide essential support to private client services. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive administrative support within the Private Client Department, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations. Accurately type and audio type legal documents, correspondence, and reports related to wills, probate, trusts, and estate administration. Professionally manage phone calls and handle client enquiries with a courteous and helpful manner. Organise and manage appointments, meetings, and diary schedules. Ensure client files are up to date, well-organised, and in compliance with internal processes. Required Skills & Experience: Previous experience in private client work is essential. Covering any of the following - wills, probate, estates, or trusts. Strong typing and audio typing skills, with excellent attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both on the phone and in person, with the ability to interact professionally with clients. Ability to prioritise tasks efficiently and work well under pressure. Proactive, with a willingness to learn and develop within the role. Benefits: Competitive salary, negotiable based on experience. 28 days of annual leave, plus public holidays.
