Practice & Operations Manager - £35,000-£45,000 + Benefits- Chester The Role Do you have at least 3 years experience in administration or operations, with a proven ability to keep teams organised and projects on track? As our Practice & Operations Manager, you will play a central role in the smooth running of our day-to-day business. From coordinating project delivery and client onboarding to overseeing internal processes and supporting our wider team. Key Responsibilities Manage the full lifecycle of Purchase Orders (POs) and quotes, ensuring accuracy against agreements and proactive progress tracking. Manage client onboarding and relationships, including documentation, proactive communication, and project scheduling. Facilitate smooth project delivery through internal pre-start meeting coordination and final report checks. Support associate management, including regular check-ins, performance monitoring, work scheduling and payment administration. Manage and oversee the Business Support Manager, including workload delegation and performance management. Oversee competency reviews, maintaining records and ensuring timely completion. Manage and maintain our customer relationship management (CRM) system, ensuring data accuracy and efficient workflows. Administer compliance functions, including Non-Conformity Records (NCR) and complaint logging, GDPR adherence, and support for ISO audits and wider certification initiatives. Lead and coordinate Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, aligning with iON company values. Provide broad administrative support, including report generation, onboarding documentation, file organisation, customer feedback management, annual leave tracking and overseeing the business administration diary. The Person Proven experience with 3+ years in a similar administrative, project support, or office management role. Strong organisational, time-management, and prioritisation skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Leadership experience with a proven track record in managing and developing teams, including delegation, feedback, and professional growth support. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint). Experience working with CRM or project management software. Experience in supporting client onboarding processes. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members. Experience with data management and an understanding of GDPR principles. Experience in coordinating training and development activities is a plus. Proactive and self-motivated with a can-do attitude and awareness of environmental and sustainability practices.
