About Us Jam Press is a leading news agency delivering high-impact content to national and international media outlets. Our PR division, JamPrime, works with brands, businesses, entrepreneurs, and content creators, while our NudePR division focuses on the adult industry. We generate stories that land in top-tier publications, helping our clients grow their brands and amplify their voices. We re looking for a PR & Editorial Writer to join our team - a sharp, personable journalist who can craft compelling stories, spot newsworthy angles, and thrive in a fast-paced PR and media environment. The Role As PR & Editorial Writer you ll be at the heart of our content creation process, writing press-ready news stories and crafting PR materials for our clients. You ll interview clients, generate headlines, and ensure our stories make an impact across national media. You ll also play a key role in account management, staying proactive in spotting client opportunities and driving our PR content forward. Key Responsibilities Content Creation & News Writing Write page ready news stories in a tabloid/national newspaper style, ensuring they are engaging and editorially strong. Develop compelling press releases, news articles, case studies, and thought leadership pieces. Adapt tone and style for different publications and audiences, from tabloid press to B2B outlets. Interviewing and Story Development Conduct client interviews, extracting engaging angles and insights. Identify and craft newsworthy hooks that will resonate with journalists. Generate creative, media-friendly story ideas for distribution via JamPrime and NudePR. Client & Media Engagement Work closely with clients across diverse industries, from mainstream brands to adult content creators. Maintain a strong understanding of trending news topics and find ways to tie client stories into the wider news agenda. Suggest and commission research for data-led stories that will enhance PR campaigns. Internal & Brand Content Support JamPrime and NudePR's own marketing efforts, crafting engaging content about the agency s work. Assist in writing thought leadership content for our senior team. Monitor and analyse client social media channels, spotting potential newsworthy angles. What We re Looking For A sharp journalist with strong news sense -someone who can spot a story a mile off. Proven experience in writing for national newspapers or media outlets. PR awareness - understanding what makes a story newsworthy for different publications. Versatility - capable of switching tone and style for different clients and media formats. Excellent interviewing skills - comfortable speaking with high-profile clients and extracting great quotes. Strong initiative and proactivity - able to move client stories forward and pitch fresh ideas. Experience in or understanding of tabloid-style writing - sensational but not sleazy. Comfort working with a range of industries, including mainstream brands and the adult sector. Ability to balance multiple projects and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Team player mindset - working closely with account managers and journalists. Interest in current news trends - keen to align client stories with what s making headlines. Bonus Points If You Have: Experience in PR, media, or communications. A portfolio showcasing published national news or PR content. Knowledge of the digital media landscape and social media trends. Experience ghostwriting for executives or industry leaders.Working Arrangement & Salary: Remote working (Must have Right to Work in the UK). Salary: From £25,000 per year (negotiable based on experience).
