Portfolio Data Architect Salary £100,000 + 17.5% bonus Hybrid working from London based office(2 days per week) Exciting Global exposure Are you an experienced Data Architect looking to take your career to the next level? This Portfolio Data Architect role at a leading global insurance company could be the perfect fit for you! As the Portfolio Data Architect, you will play a crucial role in shaping the data architectural strategy for this company. You will be responsible for driving the transition from an on-premises data warehouse to cloud-based solutions, first in Azure and then in AWS. Your key responsibilities will include: Overseeing data modelling and reviewing data modelling processes Collaborating with Solution Architects and Platform Architects on a range of projects Interacting with the wider business and other data architects to ensure a cohesive data strategy Reporting to the Head of Data and working closely with the Head of Data and Analytics across the group To excel in this role, you should have: Extensive experience as a Data Architect, preferably in the insurance industry Experience in a on-prem to cloud transition. Strong understanding of data warehousing and cloud-based data solutions, including Snowflake and AWS Glue Familiarity with global data architecture and the ability to work on large-scale, international projects Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to liaise with various business units What s in it for you?
