The successful candidate will have the chance to work in a dynamic environment, liaising with various departments and managing relationships with suppliers. What you'll do: As a Planning Manager, you will be responsible for managing all planning and procurement activities. Your role will involve managing production planners, creating manufacturing projections on stock, implementing model specs within the workflow, supporting new product development, managing supplier relationships, generating capacity plans, and developing the planning and procurement teams. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that customer requirements are met within agreed targets. Manage production planners to ensure plans reflect customer requirements Create and maintain Manufacturing projections on stock Implement and control model specs within the workflow from set up to production samples Support New Product Development by creating ramp up plans, pilot builds, sample builds and full production Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure continuity of supply for all components and factored products Generate capacity plans for specific bottleneck assembly operations to identify potential problem areas Develop planning and procurement teams through regular reviews What you bring: The ideal Planning Manager will bring a wealth of experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously. You will be highly organised with strong problem-solving skills. Your ability to build relationships across all departments in the business will be key to ensuring excellent internal communications.
