Salary: Competitive (dependent on skills & experience). Equivalent to a NHS Band 5 role with late shift, weekend services allowance.
We’re looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team at The Christie Private Care Centre, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC. Currently the world’s largest private healthcare group; providing award winning primary, acute and complex care, The Christie Private Care provides advanced cancer care and houses the world's largest early clinical trials unit. Our specialist team treat private patients using a full range of diagnostic, inpatient, surgical, day care and outpatient treatment all on one site.
As a key member of the Pharmacy team, the Pharmacy Technician is responsible for working in all aspects of the technical pharmacy services to ensure high quality, innovative and up-to-date pharmacy services which consistently meet the needs of all clients within the hospital.
Reporting directly to the Regional Lead Pharmacy Technician, Senior Pharmacy Technician and Regional Pharmacy Manager the post-holder will provide support to the operational management for the core pharmacy services which include 3 dispensaries, pharmacy procurement, stock control and management, medicines distribution and ward top-up and medicines management to the wards.

What you’ll bring:
Excellent spoken and written English
BTEC or equivalent NVQ in Pharmacy Services
Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
Additional specialist training/knowledge as appropriate
Accredited Checking Technician Qualification - Desirable
