Here are the top level deets: Location:Southampton Duration Ongoing Contract Schedule: Full-time (Monday - Friday), 9am - 5pm w/ 30mins for lunch. Start Date: April 2025 Rate of pay: £25- £35 per hour dependant on experience. A Day in the Life of a Pharmacist As a Locum Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in covering the dispensary and wards! Clinically check prescriptions and ensure accurate dispensing of medicines Supervise dispensary staff and maintain high standards of service and safety Manage stock levels and oversee the procurement process Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and trust policies Provide training and development support for pharmacy technicians and assistants Collaborate with the wider pharmacy and healthcare teams to optimise patient care Maintain accurate records and support the safe and effective supply of medicines Requirements and qualifications required for this role: Current and valid registration with the GPHC as a Pharmacist Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
