About The Role Renfrewshire - Paisley and Johnstone 20 Hours Per Week £12.60 Per Hour Are you interested in working for an award winning social care charity? Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role withinEnableby making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. No two days are the same for our Personal Assistants but what we can guarantee is that you will be supporting someone with a learning disability to achieve their goals and outcomes whatever they may be! Each person we support has different support needs, so your role as Support Worker may include assisting them with various aspects of personal care, moving and handling or positive behavioural support whilst expanding their social networks and connections. Enable creates a bespoke team around every individual we support, and our team of Personal Assistants work collaboratively to ensure the safety, wellbeing and aspirations of the people we support are met. Let us introduceyou to Jason, Stewart and Ricky Jason gets support three days a week at the local college. Jason loves taking part in classes such as; Drama and Food and Nutrition.Jason absolutely loves the WWE.Your support would be to assist Jason to be as independent as he can. You would support Jason to make the right decisions while in class and out in the community. You would ensure Jason's safety throughout each day.Jason will get support 3 times a week during term times and 1 day outside of that. Stewart would be met in his local community by his support. Stewart enjoys going into his local pub, playing pool and dominoes and regularly completes large jigsaws in his home. Stewart loves his local football team and has been a season ticket holder for many years. Stewart needs regular emotional support to make him feel safe and comfortable. You would also support Stewart to address important mail and join him to attend important appointments.Stewart gets support5 days a week. Ricky has a wicked sense of humour. He is very well known in his local community. Ricky very much enjoys social interaction with his support.Ricky enjoys meeting up at a local 5 a side football match then Ricky likes to go for lunch and a pint in the community. Ricky enjoys his football and loves to visit a local junior match when they are on, if not he is happy to watch a match in his favourite pub. Ricky needs gentle prompts to keep himself safe.Ricky gets support 1 day a week. That is why these individuals need you! Will you bring your best so that they can live their best lives?
