Paralegal. Telecoms Team £24,500 - £26,000 Milton Keynes, Bucks My client, an Award winning B Corp Certified Law Practice are recruiting a Paralegal to join their Residential Conveyancing Team. The successful candidate is likely to have a Professional Legal Qualification ( Law Degree / Paralegal / CILEX). Residential property experience with freehold and leasehold residential property and plot sales is desirable. Responsibilities include: Day to day management of client files including leasehold acquisitions for greenfield sites, rooftop sites, in-build sites, deeds of variation, licences to occupy, freehold acquisitions, and more. Draft documentation from templates, or produce first draft and thereafter negotiate commercial terms and legal wording with other lawyers, working towards agreeing documentation for engrossment Investigate registered and unregistered title, raise title requisitions if required and ensure compliance with relevant restrictions, advising on potential risk,remedies and / or rectification procedures as appropriate Raise and replying to enquiries and liaising with more senior lawyers where required. Deal with Completions Deal with SDLT / LTT and HMLR applications post completion Provide a professional and proactive service to clients, to include occasional client meetings and training. Compose clear and concise day to day correspondence (telephone, emails and letter) with clients and lawyers. Attend and participate in marketing events as required.
