As Operations Finance controller, you will hold responsibility for the accuracy of the financials related to operations ensuring compliance with statutory and group accounting procedures, and reviewing strength and testing controls in place. You will ideally be a qualified accountant with minimum of 5 years relevant experience, including developing forecasting and operating plans and implementing new processes and controls, and will drive improvements on processes and ERP (D365) system, including developing reporting and analytics. Strong analytic skills, able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change are required. Responsibilities will include: Working closely with the operational leaders to estimate production volume, resources, and costs associated. Provide analysis and insights in order to drive productivity improvement and achieve financial objectives. Monitor and develop KPIs to measure performance and drive improvements. Prepare and communicate the operational monthly actuals (cost, rates, utilisation, KPIs) and its variances to budget, forecast, etc; identifying (together with operational management) key drivers, areas for improvement and corrective actions. Together with Inventory leader, work on reducing inventory levels and P&L exposure, focusing on excess inventory and its usage. Also, support physical inventory counts and annual external audits. Develop and implement Inventory planning and controls, such as optimum stock levels, order levels and re-order levels, etc. Responsible for Standard Costing Develop costing and manufacturing expertise, ensure Work-In Progress jobs closure while analysing variances. Support and run financials for decision on Capex investments, make-to-buy cases, etc. and carry out post implementation reviews to report on actual outcome v estimate. Strong PC skills, especially on Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, etc) and familiarity with ERP and Business Intelligence tools are essential. ideally exposure to Dynamics365 and Power BI are highly advantageous.
