The Role
As a Care Support Worker in this role, you’ll play a crucial role in providing essential care and assistance to patients who may be elderly, disabled, or in need of additional support. Your duties will include: helping with daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, assisting with mobility, creating medication reminders, and monitoring vital signs. You’ll offer emotional support and companionship to your patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You may also be required to help with household tasks and provide transportation to medical appointments or outings.
You’ll need to have excellent communication skills, strong organisation skills, a friendly manner, and high levels of empathy and patience.
