Medical Lead - Complex Care Annual Salary: £43,077 to £45,540 (including London Weighting) Location: West London Job Type: Full-time We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Medical Lead - Complex Care at our new SEND centre in West London, opening in September 2025. This role is crucial for overseeing the medical requirements of learners with complex medical needs in a high-quality, inclusive learning environment. Day-to-day of the role: Work alongside medical professionals and multi-disciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support including physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, and medication administration. Implement and review Individual Support and Care plans and Individual risk assessments for learners, ensuring that EHCP recommendations are effectively implemented. Line manage a team of Learning and Care Support Assistants, providing necessary support and training based on the individual needs of students. Required Skills & Qualifications: Must be a Registered Nurse or Qualified Nursing Associate/Healthcare Assistant. Trained in Manual Handling, First Aid, Safe Administration of Medication, Epilepsy, Anaphylaxis, Dysphagia, and Diabetes, including the safe administration of emergency medication. Knowledge of the Children and Families Act and the SEN and Disability Code of Practice 0-25 years and associated regulations. Experience in working with learners with Profound and Complex SEND. Extensive understanding of CQC Standards and Regulations. Experienced in producing individual Care Plans and Risk Assessments. Good understanding of Health and Social Care processes.
