We have a proven track record in M&E recruitment across the North-West, and we pride ourselves on connecting skilled professionals with top-tier companies.?We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Mechanical Estimator to join a leading engineering and services business in Liverpool.???????Position: Mechanical EstimatorSalary: £55,000 - £65,000 + car/allowance & benefitsLocation: LiverpoolJob Type: Permanent, Full-timeJob SummaryAs a Mechanical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for mechanical building services projects.You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and commercial teams, ensuring precise cost planning and successful tender submissions.This role provides the opportunity to work on high-profile projects, helping to secure contracts for a company committed to excellence in mechanical engineering solutions.About the CompanyOur client is one of the UK's most respected engineering and services companies, known for delivering high-quality mechanical and electrical solutions across various industries.With a people-focused culture, they provide innovative and sustainable design, installation, and maintenance services.Their reputation is built on collaboration, expertise, and technical excellence, ensuring they remain a trusted partner for major clients in the built environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed mechanical cost estimates for a variety of projects.Analyse project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to determine scope and pricing.Work closely with project managers and engineers to develop competitive bids.Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.Attend pre-tender meetings and contribute to bid strategies.Monitor market trends, material costs, and industry developments to enhance estimating accuracy.Ensure that tenders are completed within strict deadlines.Skills & Experience RequiredProven experience as a Mechanical Estimator within M&E, construction, or engineering industries.Strong knowledge of mechanical building services, HVAC, and piping systems.Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent analytical and numerical skills with a strong attention to detail.Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders.Ability to work on multiple tenders simultaneously, managing time effectively.Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline are desirable.TPBN1_UKTJ
