Mechanical Design Engineer Milton Keynes - £60,000+ Benefits We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading engineering organisation based in Milton Keynes. With a salary of up to £60,000 plus benefits, this is a fantastic opportunity to become part of an exciting and growing company. The organisation are classed as leaders within the market they operate within. They design and manufacture high-spec products within the UK, which are exported globally. Due to business growth and increasing project demands, they are seeking to hire a Mechanical Design Engineer on a permanent basis. They supply products into the defence industry and therefore require the successful applicant will need to be eligible for security clearance. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing a range of high-quality products from concept to manufacture. The role primarily involves designing for Sheet Metal Fabrication using Inventor, but you'll also work with other manufacturing processes, including CNC machining. Essential Requirements: At least 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer or in a similar role Experience with the Design for Sheet Metal Fabrication or Sheet Metal Enclosures Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor Experience with FEA (Ideally NASTRAN) This is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking company that has seen rapid growth in recent years, with more to come.
