An exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work in a highly progressive R&D company working on energy storage and harnessing system, ultra-high performance motors and drives and science. Candidate requirements:

  • BEng/MEng in Mechanical Engineering or relevant subject.
  • SolidWorks 3D modelling, 2D Drawing & simulation proficiency.
  • Part design, geometric tolerancing, Bill of Materials generation.
  • Ability to take a design from a specification through concept to prototype.
  • Experience with electric motor design, high speed rotating machines.
  • Understanding of electrical systems for the design of PCB outline and cable routings.
  • FEA and hand calculations.
    • Job Location: Caerphilly, Wales Salary: 40,000 – 60,000 Job Type: Full Time, Permanent. Start Date: ASAP
