Management Accountant\n\nLocation: East Midlands, Leicestershire, Leicester\n\nJob Type:Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours\n\nSalary:£35,000 - £40,000 per annum\n\nOur client a successful Leicester based organisation are looking to recruit an experienced Management Accountant to their team due to the recent growth of the organisation. This is an exciting time for the business and a great opportunity to join.\n\nJob Description:\n\nAs a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, and reporting within the accounting department of a construction company. Your primary focus will be on managing and interpreting financial data to support strategic decision-making and improve business performance.\n\nJob Duties:\n\nPreparing monthly management accounts and financial reports\nConducting variance analysis and providing insights to senior management\nAssisting in budgeting and forecasting processes\nMonitoring and analysing financial performance against key performance indicators\nSupporting financial audits and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements\nContributing to the development of financial policies and procedures\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\nA recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or nearing completition\nProven experience in a similar management accounting or Assistant Management Accountant role\nStrong understanding of financial principles and practises\n\nKnowledge and Skills:\n\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
