Key Account ManagerPlymouth (Hybrid)Full time, Mon-Fri£26,000 - £30,000 per year Let s be clear: this is a proper relationship building role. It s not about dropping in to "touch base" or sending polite check-in emails once a quarter. It s about looking after our biggest clients - the ones that already spend with us - and making sure they keep doing it. Ideally, more of it. At the same time, you ll be expected to go out and win new business. You ll pick up the phone. You ll book meetings. You ll follow leads. You ll build trust. You ll sell properly - based on value, not volume. And if you can do that while staying organised, keeping the CRM tidy, and not annoying the rest of the team, you ll do well here. A bit about us We help businesses work safer, smarter, and more sustainably. That means training, consultancy, and advisory work across health and safety, HR, quality, and the environment. It s not flashy. It s not gimmicky. But it makes a genuine difference - and we ve been doing it for over 25 years. The team s tight-knit. No big egos. No silly KPIs for the sake of it. Just decent people doing meaningful work. The role in a nutshell Look after our top clients - meet their needs before they even ask Build real, trust-based relationships with decision-makers Lead sales campaigns that actually move the needle Spot upsell and cross-sell opportunities Bring in new clients (medium to large businesses are your sweet spot) Contribute ideas, not just numbers Work closely with operations to make sure what s promised gets delivered Handle the admin without complaining about it You ll also be involved in proposals, reporting, GDPR-compliant record keeping (yes, really), and the odd tender. It s a grown-up sales job. So you'll be expected to juggle priorities and manage your own time without someone breathing down your neck. What you ll need Experience managing high-value B2B accounts (and actually growing them) Comfortable talking to senior decision-makers Not scared of picking up the phone - cold calling happens here too Able to self-manage without wandering off into LinkedIn scrolling purgatory Solid admin and IT skills - Word, Excel, Outlook, CRM Proper attention to detail A commercial brain that looks for smart ways to add value If you care about sustainability, safety, and doing things right - you ll find a sense of purpose here too. Because we actually live and breathe that stuff, not just stick it on a values poster. Why bother applying? You ll be treated like an adult. No micromanagement. No fluff. Just real work, real clients, and a real opportunity to make an impact. The salary's £26k to £30k depending on experience.. How to apply:Click Apply Now!
