You will be working in a unique ex-offender community hub, which is simply brilliant. It s a safe space for ex-offenders to meet, see a friendly face, and receive the support they need. They have access to:\n\nAn onsite gym\nMusic studios\nWellness rooms\nArts and crafts areas\nWeekly doughnut and debate clubs (where support workers discuss the week s news topics over doughnuts)\nCooked breakfasts throughout the week (with the clients getting involved)\nWith all of this in place, the hub provides a fantastic setting for you to support your clients. In addition to participating in the above activities, you will manage a caseload of clients through one-to-one sessions, helping them access housing and benefits, register with a GP and dentist, find training courses, provide light-touch employment support, and develop general life skills such as budgeting, cooking, and wellness.\n\n This is exactly how rehabilitation should be done, and the project is truly remarkable. To apply, you may have worked within criminal justice before, perhaps as a prison officer, resettlement officer, or probation officer.
