We’re hiring an EHS Lead to provide day-to-day environmental, health, and safety (EHS) support for a major project in Edinbane.
Role Overview:
Location: Edinbane
Rate: Open (Inside IR35)
Contract: 12 months
Accommodation: Self-funded
Start: ASAP
Hours: Full-time, Mon–Fri
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the Site EHS Lead, providing direct support to field service teams
Conduct inspections, audits, and training to ensure safety compliance
Work closely with contractors and customers on EHS planning & execution
Serve as the first point of contact for EHS-related issues on-site
Monitor and enforce safe working practices in line with regulatory standards
What we’re looking for:
EHS experience in construction, energy, or infrastructure projects
Previous experience on National Grid sites preferred
Strong knowledge of UK safety regulations and compliance standards
Ability to lead EHS training, risk assessments, and incident investigations
