Hotel Manager (f/m/d) MEININGER Hotel Edinburgh Full-time Our new MEININGER Hotel is looking for Hotel Manager (f/m/d) who will be responsible for the smooth running of the daily business in all departments and equally enthusiastic about people and numbers! YOUR TASKS Are responsible for all operational tasks in the hotel, including but not limited to recruitment, reporting, budget planning etc. Ensure our guests experience the best service through optimal staff scheduling Work closely with different departments in our Berlin HQ such as HR, Finance, Revenue Management etc. Lead directly a team of Assistant Managers and several shift leads in addition to a team of receptionists, service employees Secure a safe and inclusive environment for colleagues and guests with a keen eye for individual needs and desires Set long- and mid-term goals for your team and live to motivate them by being approachable, giving continuous feedback and discuss personal development- and job opportunities Ensure all health, hygiene and safety regulations in the hotel are respected at all times YOUR PROFILE At least 2 years of experience in hospitality Work experience in UK is a plus Inspirational leadership and have joy in leading a diverse, motivated team A solution-driven mentality, showing strong commitment and an entrepreneurial way of thinking Understanding of KPIs, budgeting, and operational performance Profound knowledge of MS Office and front office systems (e.g. Sihot, Fidelio) Enjoy working in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment Excellent communication skills in English, any additional language is a plus A desire to travel occasionally WHAT MEININGER OFFERS Competitive salary Company pension scheme 20 days of vacation 2 days off for volunteering at your favorite NGOs Extra vacation days for every year with MEININGER, company jubilees Company mobile phone and laptop Staff nights and "friends & family" discounts in all MEININGER hotels Employee events and team activities: M-Days, Christmas parties, team-building events Growth and development opportunities as part of an internationally expanding organization Open Up: Access 1:1 sessions with certified psychologists for MEININGER employees and their families Mondly: Online language courses APPLICATION We are enthusiastic hosts as diverse as our guests.
