Healthcare Assistant – Complex Care support for Children

Location – Truro

Pay – up to £22 per hour

£50 signing on bonus paid to all workers within your first weekly pay. £50 recommend a friend bonus, paid to all Onecall24 Healthcare employees for all workers recommended to Onecall24 Healthcare, once they have completed their first week.

Shift – Nights, Weekdays, plus 6 hours on every other Saturday and Sunday (Sat week 1, Sunday week 2)

Start Date – October & November 2021

Onecall24 Healthcare are recruiting for a team of carers to provide day to day care management for a client who lives at home with family. Manage day to day healthcare tasks, including medication for seizures, PEG feeds, suction, BiPAP overnight. Due to their complex health conditions and specialist care requirements, our clients require ongoing night-time support. We are recruiting dedicated teams of complex care professional committed to supporting this package of care on an ongoing basis. Full training and clinical support will be given to all of our team.

We ask that you have experience in the following areas:

·Suction

·Epilepsy

·BiPAP

·Enteral feeding

·Nebulisers

Within this role you will be responsible for assisting with key health provision functions throughout the week across night shifts. Duties may include administering medication, moving and handling, personal care and healthcare tasks related specifically to the person-centred needs of the client, to ensure that our client remain completely safe and comfortable in their own home environment. You will be fully supported at all times by qualified Nurse Managers that oversee all Onecall24 Healthcare packages of care.

You will form a key part of the Onecall24 Healthcare complex care team within this role, becoming part of a team that truly believes in quality and person-centred care.

You will receive full training in all specialist and person-centred elements of care delivery and 24-hour support.
