Job Overview: We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Workers to join our team in providing high-quality care to vulnerable adults. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting service users with their daily living activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment, and delivering personalised care with dignity and respect. Key Responsibilities: Provide personal care to service users, including assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, medication administration and feeding. Support individuals with mobility and physical activities to encourage independence. Monitor and record service users physical and emotional well-being, reporting any changes to the care staff or management. Assist with medication administration adhering to our medication policy and ensuring adherence to prescribed treatments. Help maintain a clean and safe environment for service users, including the sanitization of care equipment and communal areas. Engage with service users in meaningful ways to promote social interaction and emotional well-being. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses, doctors, and therapists, to develop and implement individualised care plans. Attend training sessions and team meetings to enhance knowledge and skills and remain compliant with standards and regulations. Always uphold confidentiality and respect for service users rights and dignity. Essential Qualifications: Experience : Previous experience in a healthcare or support role is preferred. Qualifications : Minimum of Care Certificate or Diploma in Caregiving or equivalent Current and valid DBS check on the update service (Disclosure and Barring Service). Valid Drivers License Skills and Attributes: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users and colleagues. A compassionate and person-centered approach to care, with a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for individuals. Reliable, punctual, and able to demonstrate a strong work ethic and professionalism in all interactions. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and demonstrate initiative when required.
