Head of Mid-Market Client Management Credit Risk London, Hybrid (2 days per week) £75,000 - £85,000 + Competitive Commission Scheme + Travel Allowance + 28 Days Holiday + Birthday Off + Healthcare (Employee & Dependent) + 12% Pension A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a strategic and commercially astute leader with a strong background in credit risk to take charge of a high-performing Client Management team within a global financial services organisation. This role is pivotal in driving retention, profitability, and expansion across the Mid-Market portfolio. You will oversee client relationships while ensuring a rigorous approach to risk assessment and portfolio management, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration. Key Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Client Managers to achieve ambitious retention and growth targets. Design and implement strategic plans to optimise client relationships and portfolio profitability. Oversee credit risk exposure, collaborating with risk teams to manage loss ratios effectively. Drive compliance with regulatory frameworks, including KYC, GDPR, and industry best practices. Strengthen relationships with clients and brokers, identifying opportunities for expansion. Promote operational efficiency and a data-driven approach to decision-making. Champion a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and engagement. What We re Looking For: Extensive experience in credit risk management , ideally within trade credit insurance, financial services, or risk management sectors. Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams. Strong commercial acumen, with a track record in client retention and revenue growth. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively. Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities. A strategic mindset with the ability to drive change in complex environments. Tech & Systems Proficiency: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint CRM systems Qualifications & Experience: A-levels (minimum), with a degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline preferred. Senior leadership experience in account management, credit risk , insurance, or financial services.
