One of our most respected and reputable Law Firms are seeking to recruit a Head of Family Law Solicitor. This is a management/leadership position where the prospects are extremely high.\n\nThis is a position that doesn't come around very often for the successful Head of Family Solicitor.\n\nThe ideal Head of Family Law Solicitor will have a passion for Family Law with a motivated, driven approach to their work and career.\n\nYou will have good leadership skills and be enthusiastic to grow the department and its team.\n\nAs the Head of Family Law Solicitor, you will continue to expand and maintain client base as you provide and excellent service first class service.\n\nResponsibilities with include:\n Managing and leading the Family Law Department and driving the department to success\n Managing family law caseload which will involve:\n Child arrangements\n Parental disputes\n Domestic abuse\n Divorce and legal separation\n Proceedings relating to Care\n\nAs the successful Head of Family Law Solicitor, you will also mentor and provide guidance to Junior Solicitors within the department and create great teamwork.\nGood business development including attending networking events and acting as ambassador for the company within the legal community\nWorking to high standards to compliance and regulations\nThe ideal Head of Family Law Solicitor will be qualified with a strong family law background.\nYou will have proven experience managing teams or departments.\nYou will have membership of a recognised panel in order to maintain legal aid supervision requirements.\nYou will have front line experience of managing a varied Family caseload including high level and value cases. You will also have experience of working with child-related legal matters.\nYou will be an excellent communicator with the ability to liaise at all levels.
